What is candidate enrichment?
Candidate enrichment is filling in and verifying a profile's missing pieces: current role, contact details, skills and availability signals, usually from multiple data providers. Good enrichment happens at the moment you need it (when you shortlist someone), so the data is fresh where it matters.
The honest version of enrichment acknowledges cadence: bulk data refreshes on a schedule, while individual profiles are enriched on demand. Vendors claiming everything is live everywhere are describing a marketing page, not a pipeline.
Verified personal contact details are the highest-value enrichment for outreach: replies come from reaching a person, not a company inbox.
