AI recruiting
AI recruiting, without the hand-waving.
Most of a sourcing week is search and admin. That part is now software. The judgement stays yours, and the reasoning stays visible.
What is AI recruiting?
AI recruiting is using AI to do the parts of hiring that are search and judgement at scale: finding everyone who fits a role, ranking them with reasons you can read, drafting the first message, and remembering every candidate afterwards. The hiring decisions stay with people. Avery does this for white-collar roles in Europe.
The rest of this page is the honest version: what it replaces, where it must not decide, and what it costs.
What actually changes
The same four jobs, done differently
-
Finding candidates
By hand Boolean strings, twelve tabs, and the people who happen to be looking
With Avery Describe the role in plain language and search 125M+ vetted European professionals
-
Deciding who fits
By hand A gut read on a CV, and a shortlist you cannot defend in a meeting
With Avery Every candidate checked against each must-have, with a Match or Partial verdict and the reasoning attached
-
Reaching out
By hand A template with the name swapped, sent from a tool the candidate does not recognise
With Avery A per-candidate draft built from their actual profile, sent from your own inbox
-
Remembering
By hand A spreadsheet, an ATS nobody searches, and the silver medalist you forgot
With Avery Every person you touch stays in the Talent Hub and comes back the day a role fits them
From the whole market to five people
You type the role the way you would say it to a colleague. Avery reads intent rather than keywords, narrows the market against the role, the seniority, the region and every must-have, and hands you a shortlist small enough to act on today.
Five that fit, handed to you
each with the reasons it ranked them, and the ones it passed
It tells you who it passed on, and why
A shortlist without its reasoning is a black box. Avery writes down the case for every person it put forward and the case against everyone it dropped, so you can overrule it, and so the shortlist survives a hiring manager asking why.
Where AI does not decide
The three things we will not claim
-
It does not send on LinkedIn
Avery writes the LinkedIn message; you send it from your own account. LinkedIn bans automation, so anyone promising to send for you is selling you a suspended account.
-
It does not meet your hiring manager for you
No candidate reaches an interview without a human call. Avery gets you to that call informed, it does not replace it.
-
It does not hide its reasoning
Every shortlist and every pass is written down in plain sentences, so you can disagree with it. A score you cannot argue with is not evidence.
- 125M+
- vetted European professionals to search
- 34s
- to a first ranked shortlist

- data residency, and a DPO you can email

What the role pays, who else is hiring, and how long it honestly takes.
Sourcing and matching
Semantic search over the real market, with the reasoning per person.

The people you already met, kept current and re-matched.
FAQ
Asked, answered
What is AI recruiting?
AI recruiting is using AI for the search and judgement work in hiring: finding every candidate who fits a role, ranking them with readable reasons, drafting the first message, and keeping that knowledge for the next role. The decisions stay with recruiters and hiring managers.
Does AI recruiting replace recruiters?
No. It removes the hours that go into boolean searches, tab juggling and copy-paste outreach, which is most of a sourcing week. What it cannot do is judge a person, sell a role, or handle a candidate who is nervous about moving. Teams using Avery spend more time on those parts, not less.
Is AI recruiting allowed under GDPR?
Yes, when the data is handled properly. Avery is built in Europe on European data, candidate data stays in the EU, and there is a DPO you can email. Ask any vendor where the data lives, how long it is kept, and what happens to it if you leave, and get the answer in writing.
Can AI screen candidates fairly?
It can be more consistent than a tired human reading a hundred CVs, because it checks every candidate against the same stated must-haves and writes down why. That only helps if the reasoning is visible and a person can overrule it, which is how Avery is built.
What does AI recruiting cost?
Avery is free to search: no card, sourcing only. Solo is €299 a month, currently €199 as a launch discount, and adds verified contact details, outreach from your own inbox and the Talent Hub. Team and Max are scoped on a call.
